Standard Specification

Cutting head - Heavy duty gear transmission specifically designed for carbide blade sawing

Continuous lubrication - Unique design to minimise vibration improving quality of cut and blade life

Motor - Powerful 20HP motor (415v, 3ph., 50c) Efficient gear train reduces power consumption to a minimum. Constant power read-out on main control panel. Overload protection

Material feed - NC servo motor and ball screw feeder for precision accuracy. Floating rear vice assembly. Standard feed length 10-600mm, multipass standard

Magazine table - Integrated material loading station. Inclined rack with easy adjustment for different sizes. Standard length 6 metres

Material output - Swivel offtake chute separates trim cut and scrap pieces

Controls - Simple push-button controls operate main machine functions. Touch screen, graphic control panel for programme setting. Screen displays continuous machine functions, power consumption and production data. Diagnostics and fault finding display

Blades - Designed to operate with narrow carbide blades. Standard size 460 x 50 x 2.7mm. Blade speed 60-90 r.p.m.

Coolant - Oil-mist spray coolant directed at the blade. Avoids contamination and environmental problems of traditional flood coolant

Swarf conveyor - High rise swarf conveyor transports chips from base of saw to external collection point. Chain belt system (shown as option on brochure – but standard equipment in U.K.)

Top clamp - Overhead material clamp – reduces vibration during sawing operation. Enables 2 bar cutting to be carried out
